Once again, the size of FlameClan is becoming overwhelming, and this is primarily due to inactivity of characters just sitting their and clogging up the Clan. If character activity isn't picked up, or inactive characters aren't killed off, I may have a talk with other staff members about placing a character limit per user on FC for a bit.
Now, take a look at these character stats:
User:Silverwhisker: 9 total characters
User:Stormver: 13 total characters
User:Bramblefire3118: 8 total characters
Current Clan Total: 55
All of this info I got off of the Allegiance...do note that not all characters are added into the allegiance, so really, we may have more than the listed above.
Note that I did not list those who don't have tons of cats. Staff, we've got to clean up our amount of cats. Yes, you may be attached to them or have some special plans, but you've got to do what you've got to do for the sake of the wiki and emptying the Clan so our newer people can have some more characters if desired. I know Flame hasn't been all that active, but she's been busy running other popular wikis, so I'll contact her about her characters and what she wants us to do with them. - I've contacted Flame, she just wishes for her characters to be removed from the Allegiances. Do not touch her pages, please!
So, what can you do? Multiple things.
A) Kill off some cats
B) Remove your inactive characters, mark them as deceased, and bring them back in when you have much fewer characters
C) Move them to different Clans/Tribe/Factions (even if temporary)
D) Put them up for Adoption
Personally, I'm killing off Sisalpaw, Nocturnalpaw, and Phoenixflame (sorry Blue :( ), with Hawkstorm possibly leaving FC for a bit after getting into a fight with Cy over Ash. That'll be four less cats in this Clan for me, bringing it down to 5. It's that simple, folks!!
But yeah, we also have a lot of inactive characters and people just sitting on the allegiance. I'll be cleaning things up, hopefully.
If the population issue gets even worse, we may end up closing FC for a bit if the character limit is not successful. The FC character limit would only be put in place after talking with staff and everyone else for their opinions, and that is only if people don't start killing off/moving/etc. characters.
